Abstract:Shen Yinmo once had a period of life in Chongqing to escape the war. During that time, heinteracted and discussed calligraphy, painting, and poetry with various academic elites, and manystudents came to seek advice on calligraphy. Among them, he nominated his younger brother ShenJianshi to recommend Wang Jingzhi, a graduate from Fu Jen Catholic University in Peking, as hisstudent. They had a teacher-student relationship for over a year. Later, Wang Jingzhi crossed TaiwanStrait in 1949 and taught in universities for nearly forty years, cultivating countless students andenjoying high prestige in the literary and academic circles. In the art world, he was regarded as "theonly student of Shen Yinmo in Taiwan", but the origin of this relationship was unclear. Therefore, starting from Wang Jingzhi, this paper traced the teacher-student relationship between the two, andsurveyed the graduate students under Wang's guidance in universities as a matrix, presentingrepresentative students to analyze his teaching philosophy, thereby obtaining the dissemination patternof Shen Yinmo's influence on Taiwan calligraphy.
