摘要:由馬來西亞導演王禮霖自編自導的電影《富都青年》於2024年9月21日在中國大陸上映。影片以現實主義的創作手法將鏡頭聚焦在馬來西亞吉隆坡富都社會最底層苦苦掙扎的邊緣人群、艱難度日的無國籍者。馬來西亞自身的種族和文化背景賦予了該電影的“離散”屬性。本文在異托邦與聲音政治视域下深入解析電影《富都青年》邊緣底層人物失語的多重表徵,及在異托邦中的抵抗與救贖。以期為異國離散人群的研究视野的拓展提供一些新向度,對東南亞電影的創作研究有所裨益。
Abstract:Abang Adik, a film written and directed by Malaysian director Lay Jin Ong, was released inmainland China on September 21, 2024. Employing a realist approach, the film focuses on themarginalized communities at the very bottom of Malaysian society in Pudu, Kuala Lumpur, andstateless individuals struggling to survive. The inherent ethnic and cultural context in Malaysia imbuesthe film with a "diasporic" quality. This paper, through the theoretical lenses of heterotopia and thepolitics of sound, provides an in-depth analysis of the violent manifestations and multiple dimensionsof aphasia among the marginalized characters in Abang Adik, as well as their resistance andredemption within the heterotopia. Furthermore, it aims to offer insight into the exploration ofdiasporic communities and to contribute to the study of Southeast Asian cinema.
