Abstract: According to incomplete statistics, there are nearly 30 million teenagers diagnosed with depression in China, about 10 million children suffering from "hollow diseases" and about 2 million diagnosed with autism. Despite living in an era of material abundance and being hailed as the future pillars of our nation, these young individuals find themselves trapped in a profound spiritual crisis that has captured the attention of Chen Jiming. With his acute artistic sensibility, Chen Jiming delves into teenagers' psychological struggles through his novels, focusing on universal challenges they face during their growth journey and exploring the "unbearable weight of life" they encounter. His works such as Holy Land, Galloping Horse and The Tide of Hunger represent significant achievements of this aspect, showing readers a new dimension.
